MOMM Returns after Eleven Years!
Eleven years ago the Divine Mercy Prayer Group at St. Joseph’s worked hard to bring MOMM to their parish. As a result of that visit, there have been Divine Mercy Sunday celebrations every year, and the community has continued to embrace a variety of Divine Mercy enrichment programs. And now, the newly formed Marian Missionaries of Southern Indiana are excited to be hosting their first parish outreach event by bringing Dave and Joan back.

Friday, October 19, 2018  – Special Family Night Event (No Charge – Free Will Offering)

7 – 9 p.m.  The Spark from Poland Ignites Young Hearts and Families

This popular, captivating one-hour multimedia presentation takes a leap into the mystical life of St. Faustina and her encounters with Jesus, the Divine Mercy. The fullness of the Catholic faith is expressed through the words of Jesus as recorded by St. Faustina with emphasis on the reality of Christ’s true presence among us today, particularly in the Sacraments and also by means of the veneration of His sacred image.

All are amazed to learn of and see the correlation between the original Divine Mercy Image and the Shroud of Turin, a highlight of MOMM presentations for 20 years.

Every family will be spiritually enriched by this program geared toward the age groups present and family life. Parents will be moved by the attentiveness and responses the children offer in this interactive program. Each child will receive a 5 x 7 Divine Mercy Image that allows them to fill in “Jesus I trust in You” on the bottom. Adults will receive a Divine Mercy holy card with the Act of Consecration of the Family to the Divine Mercy prayer on the back. The program will conclude with the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Holy Hour – always beautiful and the best way to make the most of the gathering. Once Jesus is exposed on the altar, the priest will make himself available for confessions. Dave and Joan will lead the congregation through adoration hymns, prayers, songs, and mediations before the Blessed Sacrament. The program will conclude with Benediction at 9:00.

Presenters
MOMM is an apostolate of the Marian Fathers at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Since 1999, Dave and Joan have taken the message of Jesus, the Divine Mercy to over 800 parishes, schools, and conferences across the country and beyond sparking spiritual growth and parish renewal all along the way.

In 2012, they launched the Divine Mercy for America Campaign to build a network and movement of faith-filled Americans equipped with an Action Plan to fight for souls and the country the way Heaven taught St. Faustina to do for her native land.
