Now I see clearly that chosen souls keep the world in existence to fulfill the measure of justice.

She was a humble girl growing up on a farm with very little schooling and yet her writings have touched the hearts of millions across the globe.  Please join us in signing the Marian Father’s petition to have Pope Francis elevate Saint Faustina to Doctor of the Church.

Your Holiness,

I hereby request that you grant St. Maria Faustina Kowalska the formal designation of Doctor of the Church.

A humble Polish nun, St. Faustina received extraordinary revelations in the 1930s, which she recorded in her diary. Our Lord told her, “In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people. Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart” (entry 1588).

Through the life and writings of St. Faustina, millions around the world have received the grace to trust in God’s merciful love, seek his forgiveness and healing, and bear witness to his mercy in their daily lives. Declaring St. Faustina a Doctor would magnify Christ’s redemptive mission to proclaim anew his infinite love and mercy for all humanity.

“Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy.” – Jesus’ words to St. Faustina (Diary, 300)
